Ocean. Depths of Freedom

In her new series, Depths of Freedom, Ukrainian artist Tetiana Pchelnykova explores the grandeur of the ocean, sea, and sky to capture their symbolism, energy, and ever-changing beauty. For Tetiana, the ocean serves as a metaphor for freedom—both personal and the freedom of her country, which continues its daily struggle for light and harmony against the forces of darkness.
Through abstract seascapes, the artist conveys profound emotions and the raw power of the elements. Each painting intuitively reflects the dance of light on water, the texture of waves, and the gradients of the sky. Special attention is given to dynamic details—from the foam on the waves' surface to subtle reflections—that create an atmosphere shifting between serenity and drama.
